Lone Star Golf Course Review
While weddings are joyous occasions, they are also incredibly stressful. As the first sibling in my family to get married the whole wedding planning thing was a whole new world for me when my husband proposed. I attended a bridal fair is January and was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of options. One venue however seemed to outshine the others – Lone Star Golf Course. This is the venue we used for our beautiful October wedding and I could not be happier.
From that very first meeting at the fair, Shannon – the planner extraordinaire – was warm, inviting, and reassuring. She knew exactly what her venue had to offer and was well prepared for all of the questions that we had. Once we toured the venue we knew that we had found out oasis in the desert. The greens are beautiful and despite being so close to a busy main street there is no noise disruption. I absolutely loved the view and I felt like I had left the desert sands but got to keep our gorgeous sunsets. One of my guests even said that he felt that he was not in El Paso, but in another, greener, Texas city.
Another thing that put Lone Star over the top was the inclusiveness of their packages. These packages were not only the most reasonably priced and extensive in the city, but they also made things that much less stressful when having to plan other services. With the package that I used I was able to have nearly 200 guests and the wedding that I had always dreamed of while remaining within my fairly conservative budget.
Lastly, none of this would have been possible without the help and support of Shannon, the phenomenal coordinator and her great staff. She was always available for advice and questions. She also helped me to stay on track with all of the dates and deadlines that came up. She was also able to get up so much bang for our buck that it was easy to get everything that we wanted and more.
I would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone looking to have an amazing, beautiful wedding for yourself and your guests.
